ProxyTow lets you exit from 60 countries and 175 cities. Locations fall into five regions (Oceania, Asia, Europe, the Americas, plus the Middle East with Africa), so start with the region your target market sits in.

Why bother with a country specific proxy? Countless sites read the visitor's IP location and then change language, prices, search rankings and ads to match. Connect through a local address and the page you load is the page residents get.

Location is set in the proxy username. Keep the single gateway gate.proxytow.com:7000 unchanged, tack a country code and optionally a city onto the login name, and your exit point moves. The pw_ token you got at signup serves as the password.

Codes follow the two letter ISO style in lowercase (us, jp, gb), and cities with spaces swap them for underscores, so New York becomes new_york. Every one of the 60 supported countries offers both rotating residential and ISP plans. Residential traffic follows whatever location tags you place in the login, and ISP addresses are tied to the country you choose at checkout for the whole term.

Mobile proxies cover the 56 countries with carrier IPs, while server based plans (private datacenter, shared datacenter, IPv6) come from 18 countries with server stock. Unlimited residential blends IPs from many countries, which suits volume heavy work where location is secondary.

Each country guide lists the plans you can buy there. If the product you want is not shown for a given place, residential traffic can still give you an IP in that country today.

As a rule of thumb, match the exit to wherever your audience lives. For ad verification, connect from the market a campaign targets to view the actual creative and landing page. Even with a shared language, neighbouring countries often get different copy and pricing.

Local search rankings shift not only by country but also by city. For local business queries or map packs, adding a city sharpens the picture. Online stores frequently set currency and shipping zone from IP location, so choose the country whose shelf price you want to record.

To compare markets, edit just the two letter code and resend the identical request. Gateway and credentials remain as they were, so there is almost nothing to reconfigure.

City targeting earns its place when results differ inside a single country. Local search, delivery coverage and in store stock are all checks that get more precise as the area narrows. Tag the login with city and the place name and you are set.

A session is worth adding when one IP must carry you through a chain of pages. Signing in and moving between screens, or filling a cart and reaching checkout, flows naturally when the address holds steady. Put session and a label of your choosing in the username and the same address sticks for as long as 90 minutes.

City and session combine freely. Change just the session label and you restart on a fresh address within that city, an easy way to give every profile its own address.

Make a habit of verifying the exit once you connect. Open any IP information page through curl or a browser and it reports your current address, country and city. If it matches your selection, everything is configured correctly.

Geolocation databases sometimes disagree at city level, so compare two lookup services when the city matters. If you are running a session, refresh a few times and watch the address hold. If the location looks off, recheck the country code and city spelling in your username.
